Integrated services

eibPort contains several function modules, like

	Time switch clocks
	logics
	light scenes
	communication services
	user administration

The integrated time switch steers punctually shutters, lighting, heating, pumps, etc..

With the light scene module e.g. the brightness of the lighting, states of the shutters and also the mode of operation of the heating are combined into only one scene (leaving the house, television, reading...). Then the scene is released just by one single keypress (e.g. of a palpation sensor).

For more complex controls logic modules are available. With their assistance e.g.. "if then" decisions can be done automatically.

All modules can be edited with a standard internet Browser (e.g. Internet Explorer, Netscape...). That means, all elements are in eibPort.

With the start of the Browser on the PC the modules are loaded from the device. This procedure can be compared with the call of an website. The difference is however that the site can be edited now graphically without rasters and freely programmable.

The structure of the modules ensure simple operation. So in retrospect a change can be made, without having to make a lengthy study of the operating instructions before.
