Flexible topology

eibNode is the universal line coupler for the EIB. The gateway can

be integrated flexibly into the classical EIB topology. Simply replace arbitrary area or line couplers in your EIB network by eibNode.

Immediately you do not have to consider no more the classical border

of the EIB (15 areas with ever 15 lines). Up to 256 eibNode can

be used in a EIB facility.

organize facilities flexibly 

Large objects are frequently divided into rented areas. With

eibNode a large facility can be divided into autonomous units. Assign

simply to NetID's. All eibNodes with the same NetID (e.g. within a

rented area) form an own facility. If rented areas change, you

adapt the EIB facility - simply by changing the NetID's. In different

units the same group addresses may be used.

Central or decentralized?

Both. At the same time. By NetID assignment defined units work

completely autonomously and without any center. In addition, all units can

be maintained from a technique center. Via the NetBroadCast, a central

call, all eibNode's in a facility can be reached. In addition, central

calls can be sent only to

certain eibNode groups by the assignment of NetBroadCastMasks. With the FreeMask additionally global

main groups can be defined. A global main group,

e.g. for central functions, is available in all units. For the

comfortable extension of EIB facilities eibNode supports next to the real group

addresses (main groups

1-15) also virtual group address (main groups 16-32).
